WHY GO TO MARS?
As a species, humans are always curious. This feeling makes them want to explore unknown lands. As Earth’s resources deplete our species will need to find new places to conquer. We would also need somewhere to expand our race as we overpopulate Earth.
Humans need to create new beginnings and discover an outlet to correct our mistakes. This outlet would be our race’s first attempt in interplanetary colonization. It would need to be similar to Earth in almost every way. It would have to be close enough to travel to. This place seems so foreign and unreachable, yet we will do it in the next two decades. It is called Mars.
HOW WILL WE GET THERE
To get to Mars we will need to blast off using our raptor engines. We will orbit the earth and get more supplies from a rocket that was previously sent to orbit. Then our captain will lead to Mars. We will dock on our space station where we can refuel for landing. We will then leave the station and have a controlled descent to the surface.
FUTURE VISION
In the future, we want Mars to be an independent planet with its own laws and forms of government. We wish for the Martian people to be able to choose what they want their planet to look like. We will only start the colony but wish that they will choose Mars to be a peaceful place where the mistakes on earth have shaped them to be a better society than ever before.
